New Arrival: ROSCO IV is a small Beagle boy about 7 years old and 17 lbs who was seen running loose in a very rural part of Louisiana for several months. Despite many attempts by many neighbors, no one was able to capture him. Then one morning Kelly walked out of her house and there was ROSCO IV curled up in her driveway with his foot caught in his collar so he could not really move. She, of course, scooped him up, brought him into her house, cleaned him up and gave him some good food. Over the next several weeks they attempted to find ROSCO IV's owner without success. Eventually, they contacted one of SEBR's Louisiana fosters and we agreed to take him into the Rescue. ROSCO IV is doing very well with the other Beagles at the house although he does not seem to know how to play with them.

ROSCO IV came to us with some scrapes and cuts which we are treating and, not surprisingly, tested positive for heartworms. He still needs to be vetted, neutered and treated for his heartworms which should be done in the next few weeks.
