ADOPTION PENDING

UPDATE:  4/13/23
Foster Mom works remotely so DaisyMae likes her humans around most of the time.  DaisyMae enjoys the company of her foster Mom's two resident dogs but can be at peace by herself.  She's left for only about 30 minutes a day and uncrated and so far she's been ok.  The home cameras showed her hanging out on the couch - but we think given her love of her humans that she would prefer someone around most of the time.  DaisyMae is pretty quiet and house trained.  She's only had one accident in the house.  DaisyMae hasn't done much leash walking but she's hoping that she'll get plenty of exercise in her new home so she can get her figure back.  She does well sleeping on a dog bed next to the other dogs in the home.  She enjoys toys, is great with kids, currently two young kids under 4 years old and super sweet.  If this Beagle beauty may be a good fit for your family, let us know!

Weighing in at nearly 30 pounds, DaisyMae could probably stand to drop a few.  If she were a boxer, we’d probably put her in the super-welterweight class. Put a leash on her and walk her around the neighborhood, and you’ll see just how strong she is and how motivated she can be to follow her nose.

She has been recently returned to SEBR after having been adopted in May 2022. Her owners are unable to take care of her due to health reasons.  She is currently doing very well in her foster home with two other dogs (one male and one female) and two young children.  She does like to play with her toys, but then afterwards, she’d just as soon relax on the couch with her people rather than play with the other dogs.

DaisyMae is fully house broken and will scratch at the door when she needs to go out.  She stays happily in her crate while her foster family is away, but has the run of the house at night time, without any problems.

She loves to eat like most beagles do, so I wouldn’t go leaving that freshly made sandwich on the coffee table or feeding her right next to another dog.

DaisyMae would be the perfect companion for Movie Night and enjoys Rom Coms and Crime Dramas.
