JUST ARRIVED!
Buster VII is here and he is so little and cute! He may look bigger in his pictures but he's only 21 pounds. He will need a little time to get settled in his foster home and Buster is scheduled for heartworm treatment very soon... but... ISN'T HE GORGEOUS!? Buster has been in a foster home in Louisiana for a short while and his foster mom says he is very well behaved but a little timid. We have found that as well - sweet, submissive - but don't let him fool you - he can scamper about and play like a pup! Buster was making passing grades in potty training but may still need a bit more work. He does prefer being inside though and once he's done his business outside he's ready to come back in and lounge around or play a bit with the other dog he came in with, Baxter IV. Both dogs are pretty quiet and only bark when they are excited because foster mom has returned home. When they see other dogs they just wag their tails. We will know more about their social skills when they get to their Florida foster home. They sleep quietly in a large crate together at night. They enjoy each other's company but we do not feel they are bonded so will be going to separate foster homes.
