***UPDATE*** Lucille adores people! She will wildly wag her little tail as long as she’s being talked to and petted! She has a really cute little howl which is actually not very loud, and she uses it judiciously for attention or food or just to alert her human to something interesting. We do wonder about her age as she seems younger than the estimate. Her foster family has another young beagle just a little over a year and Lucille enjoys her rowdy company. When her people are away from home, Lucille is quite content being crated with Thelma. She will relax there during the day as well as sleep in the crate at night. Lucille has been be fed in the same crate with Thelma, although in separate bowls, with no issues and she's doing excellent with house training. Lucille tested positive for heartworms but has already been treated and is doing very well.
NEW ARRIVAL - After a very long car trip from Baton Rouge, LA, Lucille and her BFF, Thelma III have finally arrived in Florida. Although perhaps a little uncertain of this new adventure, they have definitely been glad of each other's company. Both little Beagle girls have warmed up greatly to their chauffeur and Foster dad. He will be sharing more details about their personalities with us soon as they settle in at home. We do believe they are a bonded pair and would like to see them adopted together. We look forward to sharing more about Lucille and Thelma with you!
