UPDATE: Billy is settling in very well at his foster home. His foster mom says his needs are simple - food, air conditioning and an occasional cuddle. He likes walks when it is cool enough and is good on leash. In addition, he is super friendly with all the dogs he meets along the way. Billy is also making straight As in housetraining at his foster home. This boy is why adopting a middle aged dog is such a great thing - he is ready to fit right in and be your loving companion!
NEW ARRIVAL!
Little Billy IV is about as cute as they come! He is friendly with dogs and people (not sure about cats but maybe) and he is pretty laid back so far - except at meal times or treat time! Suddenly the beagle bay comes alive! He is sleeping quietly in his crate at night and doing very well with house training. Billy has seen a bit of neglect in his past and has some flea allergic dermatitis which we are treating. We are confident he will get the fur he is missing on his back and tail back in time. He tested negative for heartworms but will need to be neutered and we will do a much needed dental cleaning. Then this little cuddle bug will be ready for some lucky family! He's a really easy going little fellow!
