Goose is THE FRIENDLIEST dog! He just happily wags his tail at anyone who wants to make his acquaintance. Sometimes he happily wags his tail for no reason we can see, other than maybe he's just happy. Some very kind people rescued him as a stray in Kentucky and now he is in Florida learning to be loved and cared for in a foster home. He's absolutely great with other dogs, cats and kids. He's relatively low energy, although certainly up for a walk around the yard whenever it's offered. He's not fond being crated, but just in case we are gradually teaching him that it's not a bad place to be. He does sleep in a crate at night in his foster mom's bedroom. He's done well with house training after initially wanting to mark his territory. (Belly bands are great things to use for the first day or two.) He is heartworm negative but positive for Lyme which we will treat with doxycycline, and we'd like to do a dental procedure on him. He should be ready for a sleepover towards the end of August.
