Dallas is on a sleepover with a potential adopter.

Dallas came to SouthEast Beagle Rescue as a puppy - we did not know who either of her parents were but she looked like she might have some beagle in her and we chose to rescue her. We named her Marion and she was adopted and renamed Dallas. She was still very young and small but has since grown larger and more active than the family who adopted her had planned on, so they returned her to the rescue. Dallas is not quite a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. She is quite playful with the other dogs (beagles) in the home and things are going well. We will give you more information on Dallas as she settles in to her foster home.

UPDATE:  Dallas is doing great in her foster home!! She goes to the door when she needs to potty and sleeps quietly all night without having to be crated. When the family leaves the home, she is crated with some chew toys and she does fine - she whines for a little bit and then settles down. She is strong on the leash but once she knows the routine she will walk without pulling. Dallas, along with the other dogs in the household, will sit for her treats and her meal. she also is doing well with the stay command and knows shake as well. She loves to play with toys and balls and is very affectionate. She is good with both kids and dogs.
